ESP: Fidel Alejandro Castro Ruz (Birán, Mayarí, actual Provincia de Holguín, Cuba; 13 de agosto de 1926) es un político cubano. Fue mandatario de su país, bajo los cargos de Primer Ministro (1959-1976) y Presidente de Cuba (1976-2008). Actualmente ejerce como Primer Secretario del Partido Comunista de Cuba y como Comandante en Jefe de las Fuerzas Armadas Revolucionarias (Ejército) de Cuba. Es, además, uno de los condecorados por la Unión Soviética con la Orden de Lenin. Es doctor en derecho civil y licenciado en derecho diplomático.
