Albert Ferreros del Rosario (born November 14, 1939) is the current Secretary of Foreign Affairs of the Philippines. On February 24, 2011, President Benigno Aquino III swore in del Rosario as his Secretary of Foreign Affairs replacing Alberto Romulo.
Political career
Before being appointed by Benigno Aquino III to the Foreign Affairs secretary post, del Rosario was the Philippine ambassador to the United States under then-President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo from 2001 to 2006. He stepped down after disagreements with the Arroyo government.

PRESIDENT Benigno Aquino III on Monday commended Foreign Affairs Secretary Albert del Rosario for his role in championing the rights of the country in the international community and protecting Filipino workers during the Arab Spring in 2011.
In his fourth State of the Nation Address (Sona), Aquino said the former Philippine envoy to Washington could have gone back to his private life as a business man but instead answered the call to represent the Philippine in international diplomacy.
